Bangladesh is now a role model in the world in ICT sector: Palak
State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak said Bangladesh has now become a role model in the world's information and communication technology sector while he was speaking an inaugural function of Durga Puja-1428 in the capital on October 10.
Palak said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has transformed Bangladesh from a poor country to a middle-income digital Bangladesh in just 12 years. Under the leadership of Mr. Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the worthy grandson of Bangabandhu, the architect of Digital Bangladesh, Bangladesh now has become a role model in the world in the ICT sector.
Mentioning that India has come forward in the development of ICT sector, the state minister said Bangladesh has started construction of 12 high-tech parks with the financial assistance of India. In response, Bangladesh and India are jointly setting up 50 digital centers at the district level to commemorate the golden jubilee of independence in Bangladesh.
The Minister of State called upon all to work together to give the people of the Indian subcontinent the gift of a better life.
